Summer Jam Concert and Dessert Social with Sherry Anne and Donna Mucks to Benefit St. Margaret’s

September 7 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

St. Margaret’s Ecumenical & Retreat Center at 47 Jordan Road in New Hartford, New York, will hold a Summer Jam Concert and Dessert Social with Billboard-charting singer-songwriter Sherry Anne and regionally-acclaimed singer-songwriter Donna Mucks on Tuesday, September 7 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.  Admission is free; a benefit offering will be invited. St. Margaret’s provides a beautiful setting for this event; bring a lawn chair; if it rains, the event will be held indoors.

Born with a bilateral hearing and speech impairment, Billboard-charting singer-songwriter Sherry Anne has faced many challenges and shares inspiration through uplifting messages of faith and hope to encourage others to overcome whatever their life obstacle may be. Sherry Anne sings with an elegant voice and has appeared as a special guest at Bill Gaither and The Gaither Vocal Band events. Her outreach encompasses music ministry and inspirational speaking. Sherry Anne has authored two children’s books and has recently recorded her 8th CD and a new music video releasing this fall. Learn more at https://www.sherryanne.com.

Donna Mucks was on a mountain retreat when she was gifted with the inspiration for her first song. At the time, she only knew how to play two chords on a guitar. Today, her gentle, folksy style has been compared to John Denver and Karen Carpenter. One of her favorite singers is Willie Nelson for his “do it my way” attitude and how he crafts a story in song. An accomplished songwriter, Donna is also a children’s book author, penning “Good Days” tales of her two dogs. Donna has often shared her gift of song and storytelling at children’s hospitals and for military veterans. Learn more at https://donnamucks.wordpress.com/.
